The global automotive industry has now become very conscious about the conservation of eco-balance and the reduction of pollution levels. Hyundai Intrado Concept
Hydrogen powered Fuel Cell vehicles are not only totally emission free, but also does away with all the inconveniences of the battery EVs including range and charging issues. Many global automotive giants such as Toyota, Honda and Hyundai have joined the Fuel Cell brigade, with Hyundai leading the campaign for the time being, as it has already launched the mass produced Tucson Fuel Cell vehicle.
The South Korean car maker has also revealed its plans to launch the new Intrado mini SUV as a fully green Fuel Cell car along with better drive dynamics and efficiency.
Hyundai has unveiled the Intrado FCV (Fuel Cell Vehicle) concept quite recently to the world, referring to the concept as representative of the future of the next Hyundai cars. The Hyundai Intrado Fuel Cell as claimed by the company is the basis of the futuristic design language as well as innovation for the company.
The Hyundai Intrado is based on the world acclaimed Fluidic Sculpture Design Philosophy and is a cool long compact SUV that is so much in demand in the global market. However, the Intrado will be the first compact SUV to incorporate a Fuel Cell powertrain. As per Hyundai, the Intrado Fuel Cell will be a revolution in terms of drive experience to the occupants along with the most cost-effective as well as environmental friendly benefits.
The Hyundai Intrado is a truly unique vehicle, not only in terms of its powertrains and design, but also in terms of innovative technology in auto construction. The vehicle is said to be built on a reinforced fiber chassis that is extremely strong and lightweight. This will be fitted with body panels of super light steel panels that are also super strong. These features not only make the vehicle very strong but lightweight as well making for superb road performance, easy driving experience as well as enhanced body rigidity, ensuring optimal safety as well.
The Hyundai Intrado mini SUV concept is expected to cover a massive range of over 600 km with a full tank of Hydrogen. The Intrado Fuel Cell cars are expected to hit the production soon and will be launched in about two years time. If Hyundai chooses to launch the Intrado in India, then will be the most innovative and high-tech car in the domestic auto market. However, Hyundai might not consider the Intrado FCV for India, as unfortunately the Indian car market has still not been able to accept the other green alternatives such as the hybrids and the EVs as yet, let alone a futuristic FCV.
